Sparkling Wine in Amador County
What Makes Ours Different
Our Sparkling Wine is different, it isn’t from Amador – it is from Italy! We import these customer favorites right from Veneto.
The Sierra Foothills wine region is known for bold Zinfandel, earthy Barbera, and expressive Rhone varietals and rightfully so. But Charlie and Michael Havill have always believed that sparkling wine belongs in the Bella Grace lineup too. Not because it is trendy, because its DELICIOUS (plus more excused to go to italy).
Our Prosecco and Spumante are made in Italy – with the Prosecco being a DOCG – both light, lively, and built for sharing.
Try something most Amador County wineries do not have, at the Best of Amador Tasting Room Bella Grace Vineyards.
When to Open a Bottle
The honest answer is whenever you want. But here are the moments our customers tell us they reach for Bella Grace sparkling wine most often:
As an aperitif before dinner. The Prosecco is dry and crisp and gets everyone in the right mood before the first course lands on the table.
At a celebration. The Spumante’s lively bubbles and off-dry finish make it the crowd-pleaser. The bottle that gets passed around and finished before anyone quite notices how it happened.
With a cheeseboard. Both wines pair exceptionally well with charcuterie, mild cheeses, and fruit. Put them next to our estate olive oils and a good baguette and you have an afternoon sorted.
As a champagne toast substitute. At $35 a bottle, with wine club pricing even lower, you can actually afford to pour a real glass for every guest at the table rather than a thimbleful of something expensive you bought because it had a fancy label.
