Amador County is known for producing great barbera and this is one more to add to the collection. It has great clarity and is a wonderful ruby red wine. In the glass, it displays nice weight. The nose is predominantly cranberry and dark cherry. The tartness is reminiscent of cranberry with a plum flavor mid palate. This is a well-structured wine with smooth tannins. The finish is long and juicy with notes of Tartarian cherries.
