It is non-vintage, made from 100% Estate Syrah, aged in neutral oak barrels for an average of 3 years, and was fortified with 191 proof alcohol to produce a alcohol level of about 18.5%. The wine is produced by taking our Syrah wine grapes, fermenting in tanks until the residual sugar is approximately 8%. At that time, the fermentation is stopped, the grape must is pressed, and alcohol is added. After a brief settling time, the wine is barreled and moved to the cave for aging.

Inhave never been a Port fan, however this is amazing, delicious delicate flavor with a nice chocolate note
