2019 Estate Vermentino
The 2019 growing season for our Estate Vineyard was evenly balanced, with a very cool growing season. Favorable to allow our whites to evenly ripen.
Bella Grace is named for the family’s grandmothers, Bella and Grace, and captures their zest for life and unique character. At an elevation of 1646 feet, our Amador County estate vineyard is situated in the most historic winegrowing region of California. Vermentino is an Italian variety that we grow using sustainable practices, and benefits from a combination of a higher elevation, Mediterranean climate, and proven growing methods. The Vermentino grows on 25-year-old fortified rootstock. There are less than 75 acres of Vermentino in California and our estate maintains just under 2 acres.
