2015 Estate Primitivo
This wine is dark, deep purple. The nose is full of black pepper, ripe cherries and red currants. There is the slightest hint of smokiness as the wine opens. A luscious silkiness covers the palate on first taste. The tannins are soft and well-structured. All dark fruit flavors develop across the palate ending in a long and juicy finish. Pairs perfectly with big red meat dishes and tomato based pastas. Drink now or lay down for 10 years. 2018 SF Chronicle Double Gold!
